Lamigo桃猿林泓育本季有機會成為中華職棒史上第1位在最佳10人獎項中拿下兩項獎項的球員，林泓育表示：「沒特別在意獎項，重要的是球隊贏球。」
林泓育目前只差4打席完成指定打擊、7場就能滿足捕手競爭最佳10人資格，但他自己沒特別在意到這件事，重要的是教練怎麼安排，他說：「我跟教練說過，不需要依照獎項調度，如果教練認為今天我不上場比較能贏，那我不上場比賽也沒關係。」

林泓育22日賽前151支安打、22發全壘打、100分打點、打擊率0.410、上壘率0.468、長打率0.693，捕手阻殺率也有0.472。
